BNI has systems for success! So it is only logical that BNI has a system for successful Visitors Days. It involves a chapter setting goals for membership and then working with the chapter Director to plug into the step-by-step
process. Every chapter member has to be committed and must
participate. Yes, it takes more work than inviting a guest once in awhile, but the payoff is great!

BNI LETTER OF CREDIT GOOD AFTER 15 YEARS!
Beth Flarida was a member of the Newport Beach chapter of BNI in 1993 - 15 years ago. When she had to leave the chapter, she asked for a Letter of Credit. Dr. Misner
obliged and issued that for the remaining 12 months of her membership. In May, 2008, Beth was invited to visit the Sunrise Chapter of BNI in Placentia and decided to submit an application. She was accepted, paid her Registration Fee, and used her Letter of Credit for membership.
The question everyone asks is, "How did she manage to keep the Letter of Credit for 15 years?"

AMBASSADORS ARE CHAPTER COACHES
Ambassadors are part of the Socal BNI team to help chapters be successful - they are coaches! And like good coaches, they are there to support, encourage, and help chapters and members achieve more. They are also team members because
each Ambassador is a member of his or her own chapter.
One very valuable thing that an Ambassador will bring
to your chapter is knowledge and experience from other Socal chapters. Because they work with several chapters, they get to see skills and techniques that other chapters have
developed and they will share those with you. They
specifically are working with Visitor Hosts, Education
Coordinators, and Mentors.

BNI TAUGHT ME SKILLS I NEVER LEARNED IN MY MBA!
Wendy Carter has a degree in Finance and an MBA - and a very
successful automotive repair business! A member for 10 months, Wendy says BNI has taught her presentation skills, how to promote in a professional manner and, it has increased her comfort talking with people about her business.
"BNI has generated a lot of new customers for us. So far I have 29 new customers, and at this rate, that will produce over $43,500 in new business this year," Wendy states.
Wendy wanted to get out of the Corporate Rat Race. When Millers Automotive came up for sale, she knew the value of the business. She had been a customer for years. Over the last nine years of owning it, she has retained employees of 27 and 21 years and attributes her success to treating people with respect.... and now BNI.

BNI Releases Year End Statistics for 2007!
It is a known fact that BNI is the largest business networking organization in the world; yet it is always exciting and inspiring to see the concrete numbers which prove it. So, without further ado, here are the official statistics for the year 2007—
As of January 2008:
Total BNI Countries: 39
Total No. of Chapters: 5,010
Total Members: 103,607
Total Referrals: 5.5 Million
Total Value of Referrals to Members: 2.2 Billion (U.S. Dollars)
It is impressive to note the solidity of the statistics for Referrals and their value, which are calculated based on TWO doctoral studies—the first done by Dr. Ivan Misner, BNI’s Founder & Chairman, and the second done in 2005 by Julien Sharp, a business consultant and BNI member from Florida. These powerfully reliable statistics are proof that networking delivered a huge pay-off for BNI members around the world in 2007!
The 2007 year-end statistics clearly speak volumes about the value of word-of-mouth networking anywhere in the world. These outstanding statistics are a great way to show the universal benefits of business networking!
